Project- Book Cover Design
This is a book cover design for an academic collection of works by Neeru Sharma, Muzamil Jan and Amit Bhowmick. The client wanted a traditional work of art that would reflect what their book is about.
I started with a gouache sketch of what my client had envisioned. I had to ensure that I used traditional hand-block prints.
I then scanned and transported the illustration to photoshop and converted it into a raster drawing.
Colour variations and more Indian motifs were added.
The design was assembled into the final cover layout.
